Changzhou Railcar Propulsion Engineering R&D Center (hereinafter refers to as CPC)is a major local enterprise, and it is also a leading industrialized transportation enterprise in China, which manufactures equipments and components for railway vehicles. Registered Capital of CPC is up to RMB 60 million, the Center possessed gross capital of RMB 900 million, net capital 0f RMB 500 million, the total sales value (including subsidiary companies’) is up to RMB1.2 billion annually. CPC has about 1800 employees, 80% of them at least have finished education in TechnicalSecondary School, about 500 of them were educated in Junior College, 30 of them have got master degrees and 50 employees have got the senior title of a technical post. CPC occupies an area up to 143.3 hectares, including 16.7 hectares for Base of CPC, 10 hectares of Jinsen Office Equipments Co., Ltd, 13.3 hectares of Jiangsu CPC Traction Motor Co., Ltd, 100 hectares of JintongIndustrial Park, and 3.3 hectares of Jiangsu CPC Automation System Co., Ltd. Sino-Germany joint venture Changzhou SMA Electronics Co., Ltd,Sino-US joint venture Changzhou Jinsen Office Equipment Co., Ltd, Sino-Canada joint venture Jiangsu Bombardier CPC Propulsion System Co., LtdJiangsu CPC Traction Motor Co ., Ltd, (CAS), Changzhou Shinri Machinery Co., Ltd,Manufacture Base of CPC, Changzhou jinton investment Co ., Ltd and Jiangsu CPC Automation System Co., Ltd, 8 subsidiary companies totally, hereinto, Jintong,Jinson and Shxinri are just capital controlled subsidiaries, without doing the business control.
